We have only been here in Pensacola for a short time, but we are veterans of the sport.

We didn’t just open a gym. We relocated a legacy.

For years, Team Evolution MMA was one of the most recognizable names in the PNW. We weren't just a gym; we were a championship factory. During our tenure "Up North," our dedicated athletes captured 30 Professional and Amateur Title Belts. In one hard fought year alone, we took home 18 titles. We went from a losing team to a regional powerhouse in a few short years. 

Our reputation was earned through hard work, dedication, resiliency, and a strong, family-like environment…. We went from essentially being "the Bad News Bears", to a respected and highly competitive team.

Now, we have brought that "Old School" PNW grit blueprint to the Gulf Coast. We aren't testing a new system; we are teaching one that dominated one of the toughest fight regions in America….
Not for money, not for fame, but for the absolute love of martial arts.

THE LINEAGE OF LEGENDS:
Our coaches didn't just study these arts; they were forged by the masters.
• MUAY THAI: 6-Time World Champion Master Saohin Srisuk.
• BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU: The aggressive "Warrior Style" of 7th Degree Coral Belt Marcelo Alonso (Direct Carlson Gracie Lineage).
• BOXING: The technical mastery of Tacoma legends Job Melton, Emmett Linton Jr., and World Champion Johnny "Bump City" Bumphus.
• KARATE: The traditional precision and speed of Bill Rowling.

From Coach Emily (former owner of the Tacoma Fight Shop) to Kurt and Nayanna, our team has spent decades in the corner and on the mats with world-class talent (and some really nice people). Coach Nayanna literally grew up on the mats with many of them.

Srisuk Muay Thai Pensacola: A Sanctuary for Growth

At Srisuk Muay Thai Pensacola, we believe that a Martial Arts academy is more than a gym—it is a school of character. In light of the rising "talent-first" culture in modern MMA, we are making our standards of safety and professionalism explicit for our community.

1. THE SOBRIETY REQUIREMENT
We maintain a Strictly Sober Environment.
The Standard: Our coaches are required to be 100% clear-headed on the mats. Alcohol or substance use during coaching hours is a zero-tolerance offense.
• The Reason: Martial arts involve high-level physical contact. A coach under the influence is a liability to the physical safety and moral development of every student.

2. THE CONDUCT & BACKGROUND POLICY
We believe that technical skill is never an excuse for predatory behavior or a criminal lifestyle.
• The Standard: Our leadership is vetted for integrity. We do not employ "repeat offenders" or individuals with histories of violence outside the ring (such as Domestic Violence or Battery).
• The Reason: A title or a professional record does not grant immunity from basic human decency. We are mentors first, and a mentor must be someone a child can look up to.

3. THE GUARANTEE OF A SAFE PLACE TO TRAIN
We have established clear boundaries to protect our most vulnerable students.
• Transparent Coaching: All training sessions are conducted in an open, visible environment.
• Protective Boundaries: Intimidation, "cornering," or unprofessional conduct toward women and children is strictly prohibited. Our gym is a place of empowerment, not fear.

4. THE SRISUK LINEAGE
We carry the name of Kru Anupong Saohin Srisuk.
The Standard: We follow the "Old Guard" philosophy of self-mastery. If a coach cannot control their own life, they have no business teaching you how to control an opponent.
